Default Investment for Nightfalls

I was just wondering what you think would be a good investment for nightfalls like the steel was for factions.

I think fur and cloth will be a good one myself what about you?

ps I did a search but did not find anything on this but if i missed one pleaze dont flame me thanks

I would unpopular crafting materials and some commonly needed materials like iron and steel ingots since there are certain armors that'll need those regardless.

Dervish will most likely be Leather/Silk, and Paragons will most likely be Iron/Steel.

We've had a thread on this in the Nightfall forum for a wile.

...

My prediction? Dyes. Dye prices went nuts after Dragon masks were released, never mind hundreds of new characters with all-new armour needs!

Sorry i didnt see it in the nightfalls forum. Yes I think dyes will be going up

but they have been on the rise for a few weeks now so i think every one is

counting on that as well. The leather/silk i did'nt think about good idea.I went with fur/cloth for the african theme.

Actually, that's pretty off the mark I would think. I'd hardly make robes out of leather or silk. Those bolts of damask seem more appropriate. Steel? Nah, iirc some article mentioned ivory as a new material. Maybe a new material for dervishes too.

i saw a couple mentionings of IVORY.

realistically, I doubt ivory will be included- not that I would think Guild Wars supports or encourages poaching if it did, however it IS an issue. Environmental concerns etc no pandas blah yada yada yada.

I bet any ivory armors will be crafted with bones.

Why Iron? It costs 200 gold to craft steel, it's usually cheaper to buy it...

not for crafting steel which would be a waste but to have for all the people getting the basic 1.5k armor which only requires the basics not the rares in quantity.

75 iron plus x gold for example

you choose what to craft like vellum foir example which you can sell for a profit now and if it goes through the roof the crafting cost is the same.

use your own judgement and have a ton of basics.
